In testing I noticed a dramatic increase in just over all performance as not as much wear through a round , and more just a touch more grabby around the green. But the ball had such a great feel and clean look just like the good old last gen left dash, can not wait till these come to market. And it was an honor to be selected as a tester to experience the opportunity of these next generation
There’s no such thing as everyone has different needs. Its better in every way. I tested it both in studio as well as on the course. It has a crisp feel, with great launch and spin with both irons and woods. For my game the high flight and low driver spin help in overall distance. The stopping power around the green is a show stopper. Great to see the ever improving playability of what i consider the best ball in golf

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

First off…thank you to Titleist for allowing me to test the new Left Dash ball. Was very excited to try the new version as I switched almost exclusively to the previous iteration left dash last August (tried the left dot…not for me). Handicap is 2.8 (fluctuated last year between a 1-3 depending on how much I was playing).

Feel: Feel is subjective but I believe it feels better than the previous iteration. I liked the previous iteration as well but the 2026 model feels slightly softer to me. Very satisfying feel on well struck shots.

Flight: Strength area for both the previous iteration and new model. I get a nice mid flight using the left dash which is exactly what I am looking for. You can control the flight very nicely with this ball (all ProV models really). This ball is exceptional in the wind. Played a round yesterday in extremely windy conditions and this ball just penetrates the wind great and not at the expense of stopping power on the greens.

Spin and Distance: Don’t have exact spin numbers to share. I think it is equivalent to the previous iteration or maybe slightly improved. I think I am getting an extra 5-7 yards on iron shots. Little increase off the tee as well. But again…it is not at the expense of stopping power. Wedge shot spin is great, can throw it behind the bag, bring it back a little if/when needed. For my game, think this ball spins perfect for my game.

BLUF…think it is an improvement over previous iteration. Only problem is I have 3 dozen of the previous iteration left dash balls sitting in my office. I will be putting the 2026 model in the bag for the whole year. Improved feel across driver/iron/putter, slight distance gain, and better feel coming off the putter. That last one made it a no brainer.

Thanks again to Titleist!! www.titleist.com/.../w6px2tjgnkojbwwnemph

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

I've been unable to play until recently, so sorry that my review of the new left dash took me awhile to post to the group. I am seventy years old and play to a 6.2 index. Not sure about my actual driver swing speed (it keeps going down!), but a solid drive is about 230 for me. I have played the previous version of the left dash for at least two years. The new ball (thanks for including me in the white box release!) feels a little firmer for everything, which is fine for my game. I especially like the way it rolls off the putter and reacts to spin and roll out around the greens. Iron shots hold just fine, like the current ball. I notice a stronger ball flight with all full shots, especially drives and fairway metals. Improvements are not drastic (current left dash is really great), but I'm glad I only have two three packs on the shelf so I can order a couple of dozen new left dash. Durability also seems a little better, but I always tee up a new ball on the first tee of every round. I was going to try the AVX again, but I am looking forward to playing the new left dash this season. Enjoy each round my friends!

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)
Flight: launch: higher than previous generation
trajectory: similar to previous generation
Spin: short game control: grabbier than previous generation
stopping power: stops faster

Distance & Consistency: off the tee: very consistent, similar to slightly longer distance
through the bag: slightly longer distance

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

Asking a bit of an unknown - but does anyone know when these might hit the shelves for purchase? I do have a simulator, so I’ve been able to do some comparing on that. My gamer the last couple years has been the srxn Zstar XV so that’s what my comparisons are based on.

Driver (FWIW)
I didn’t notice a notable difference in driver performance on the course for the limited opportunity I had and that’s the one thing I haven’t tested on the simulator yet.

Irons
On the course, again with limited use and changing course conditions, with my irons, I found it hard to distinguish much other than maybe the Left Dash had a little lower ball flight. I don’t mind that so much, except that I already don’t have a high ball flight. I didn’t have trouble stopping the ball, but the greens were on the softer side. I have done a fair bit of comparing balls on my simulator. I have a Flightscope Mevo Gen2 and I used the metallic dots on my gamer and the Left Dash, and I also have ProV1x RCT balls that I included there. The results there confirmed my perception of lower ball flight - the difference isn’t massive, but also not insignificant. Spin was also down some.

Short Game
This is where I noticed the least difference on the course. I wondered, would I get enough spin to have the ball check up and it performed fine for me, albeit in limited use and on softer greens, but there definitely wasn’t a glaring difference between Left Dash and my gamer.

As for short game and putting feel, I’m probably one of the worst people to ask - I hit the ball, it rolled, and it either went in or it didn’t I’m exaggerating a little, and I would say it felt a little firmer, but that’s not usually something bothers me, so I don’t have much to say for feel.

Summary
I’m super grateful for the opportunity to participate! I wouldn’t choose Left Dash as my gamer, but that’s not a surprise as I wouldn’t have anticipated it to be the best fit for me. I was impressed with the short game performance (limited though it was) considering it’s definitely a firmer ball. The lower flight and spin with my irons would be the main reason I wouldn’t choose it. Within the Titleist lineup, without doing a fitting, I would expect one of ProV1, ProV1x, or AVX to be a better fit.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

Just an amazing find ball! As someone who switched to the left dash to help with driver spin and flight, this was one of the biggest things I noticed off the tee, the flight felt more piercing and definitely picked up some extra yards. You can definitely get a better feel on the face versus other options and I felt that dispersion was tighter on a couple misses while playing.

Irons/wedges- I play the t150s and felt that the high trajectory was controlled and provided a great decent angle. I felt the newer left dash was the most noticeable with my longer irons on holding greens(home course is zoysia) and spin control with lower irons and wedges. As someone who focuses on short game and manipulating shots inside 80 yards this was where the new version shined the most. I compared it to the AVX and previous Left dash and felt the newer model had more spin control around the green as well control on lower flighted wedge shots to really elevate play.

I feel the durability of the new ball has improved as well, had one shot come up short and bounce off a railroad tie on the face of a bunker and left no scuffs or marks. After multiple rounds I didn't notice any significant damage to the outer core like I would for other balls after significant play.

Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to test the ball and provide feedback. Looking forward to playing this ball in 2026

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

I found the Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 to be a true high-performance ball that clearly separates itself with distance and stability. I consistently saw longer, straighter drives thanks to the lower spin off the tee, and the ball flight was high but penetrating, especially impressive in the wind. With irons, it launched strong and held greens better than I expected, while still keeping that firmer, responsive feel the Left Dash is known for. Around the greens, spin was reliable and predictable, even if not overly grabby, and the cover held up very well. Overall, it feels more refined and playable than previous Left Dash versions and has no problem earning a spot in the bag for players looking for speed, control, and consistency.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

The highlights would be long off the tee and SPINNY around the green. I usually play a ProV1. Off the tee the '26 left dash was about 5-10 yards longer. Though I must say it didn't carry over into approach shots, which were typically 5 yards shorter than ProV1. Around the green the stopping power was unreal... i started to fly it almost to the pin because the ball would stop so quickly. Feel was pretty consistent w/ other Titleist ball products. I felt the flighting of wedges was excellent and an improvement as I didn't see any sky balls. The only thing I noticed versus the old model is a few more very low spin drives that fell down or knuckled a bit. Have always used Pro V1.

I didn’t get included in the survey this year but have recently changed from using a Pro V1 to a V1x.

Rationale was, I wanted something with a little more spin and the V1x was my go to ball to test.

I’m very surprised, feel a little firmer off the club, buckets of spins, wedges in particular are flights lower (got new wedges last week SM10 Nickel, which is obviously helping with the flight and spin. But across the bag very positive.

With the new ball testing I do wonder if doing it at this time of year is helpful…in Scotland we are mostly on mats, in cold conditions and the ball isn’t flying well…just a thought….

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

The Left Dash 2026

Currently playing the Titleist ProVIx and playing to a 10 handicap.

Received the white box late in our Canadian golf season, that being said.
Did put them in use for a couple of late fall rounds, plan on using them on an upcoming southern trip.

Distance:
Like the ball flight compared to the ProV1x seemed a little lower and more piercing, which is great for windy, cool days. I did see an increase in distance off my Titleist irons, especially my favorite club 7 iron...10-15 yards.

Short game spin:
Greens were very hard not sure any ball would have held them.

Feel:
Both wedges and putter seem to be more responsive, and with a consistent roll.

Thank you for allowing me the chance to test them.

I looking forward to putting them in my bag once released.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

Love the new left dash!
They bring a more consistent spin rate to my drives and give me 5-10 yards of more carry. Iron shots have not showed much difference from prior left dash generation, which is a good thing, so no adjustments needed to approach shots. It's winter in PA and the ground in frozen so I can't test them around the green but if they perform like prior generation, they will be great. This ball is in the bag for our winter simulator leagues.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

Hey everyone my name is Stephen, I'm from Northern Kentucky. Been playing golf now for almost a full year. My Handicap is 20... But I'm consistently improving, figuring out what works for myself on the course and what really tends to set me back.. The Pro V1x Left Dash White Box golf ball has been very helpful in most areas of my game. Mostly helping with control and touch when approaching with my irons, or when on the green attempting a nervy putt. Honestly I say everyone should try these balls out at least once just to experience the next level of golf!

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

I am a dyed in the wool Titleist loyalist.

I am 59 years old. I play about 75 rounds a year. My Index has stayed in the 4-6 range for several years.

The weakest part of my game is chipping. I consider myself an average iron player and a good putter and driver of the ball-straighter than most and 260-270 on average.

A long time user of the Left Dash and AP2/T100, I switched back to the ProV1 when I started playing the T200 and now T250 irons. I began having difficulty generating enough spin with the irons and wasn't holding greens as I'd like. Especially sunbaked summer greens.

I was thrilled to be chosen to test the new Left Dash.

My testing has been somewhat limited by weather conditions (I live in Salt Lake City) but I have tried to compare/contrast to the ProV1 and the original Left Dash.

Feel: New Left Dash didn’t have a notable difference in putting or full iron shots. My perception is that it did feel a little softer on wedge shots. Like the ball stayed on the face just a split second longer than the OG Left Dash. I loved it off the driver too. It didn’t feel like the firm ball it is advertised to be. It felt comparable to a ProV1 in my view.

Flight: High. But similar enough to the OG and very slightly higher than the ProV1. Pleasing to my eye and playable to be sure. Kind of perfect for me off the driver. I prefer a low/low driver shaft. This higher flight and lower spin allows me to play a Ventus Black in my GT2 to get pretty optimal launch and spin. Very stable in the times I have played it in windy conditions.

Spin: Good enough for me in the short game. Again, with my skill level I play bump and run when I can as opposed to skipping something in low and hot. Not a lot of difference in this regard vs. the OG or even the ProV1 really. Probably a little less spin than a ProV1 though.

Distance and Consistency: The new Left Dash is so good off the Driver for me I am planning on building the rest of my bag around it. Which flies in the face of conventional wisdom but it is that good.

I saw longer drives on average. 3-8 from the OG and 7-12 from the ProV1. As previously stated, may average drives are 260-270. I have had several of 280 and even longer in certain favorable conditions. Even better is how straight it goes. I have not lost a ball off the tee in the 5 full rounds I have played it and have hit 73% FW. The cherry on top is the confidence I have on the tee. I feel like I can swing as hard as I want with impunity. It's not going sideways or ballooning.

I like it so much off the driver I considered going back to the T100 irons to pick up some spin vs. my T250. But first, I have bent my T250 2* weak but have not had enough time to test.

This test was enough for me to go back to the Left Dash regardless. And I am excited to have a revamped version.

Thank you for the opporunity.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

[quote user="DGreely"]Just want to say that I noticed a tremendous difference in the older generation of left dash versus the new model.
Favorite ball was the older left dash due to distance, ball flight and consistency. I figured out how to play it around the greens and the ball coming off the putter felt fine for me.

New Left Dash - I am a little disappointed with the new left dash - if i have my option I would stick with the older left dash. Here is why:

1. Ball Flight - it appears the new LD is lower ball flight and I am not expecting it that low. I have played 6 rounds of golf with the new ball and it is consistent for sure but just lower then what I am expecting from the previous version. I hit both side by side to validate my swing was not producing this and nope - Old LD was definitely higher ball flight but still controlled. The new LD is much flatter which creates fear I will skip across some greens. I don't like fear on the course.
2, I feel i get more spin from the old LD around the greens and of course, been playing that ball for the past 3 years I figured out what to do and know how to play that ball effectively. This new LD does not spin as much for me around the greens so my landing spot needs to be adjusted even more back than my landing spot with old LD.
3. Distance off Driver - I did not do any simulator or launch monitor details but on the course I feel the old LD is longer by only a few yards. I did a shoot off on multiple holes and every time the old LD was ahead of the new LD by 5 yards twice other times by 3 - 4 yards. Nothing crazy but again - ball flight with driver was way better with the old LD. I feel like I need to bump my loft of driver but with more loft comes more spin and the entire reason I am using the Left Dash is to reduce spin.

Overall, the New LD did feel great but not enough for me to jump ship from the old LD. I have already went around and bought several dozens of the older version so I have stock ready.

RE: Pro V1x Left Dash 2026 White Box (Official Reviews)

The Left Dash is my normal ball so I was very excited to receive the 2026 version. I choose to play the Left Dash because I like the high flight and lower spin from driver and long iron shots. I am a member at three clubs and all have very firm greens to high spin from wedges is important and the Left Dash delivers.

The new version performed in similar manner to the 2019 design I have played for several years, but did almost everything a little better.

Feel: I am anxious to find out what the compression of the '26 version is, as it feels a bit softer than the current ball. The ball feels less "clicky" from the putter face, and feels like is is compressing more on solid driver shots. I like to play a firm ball, so perhaps my thought is that this ball doesn't necessarily feel softer, but seems to react better at impact throughout the bag.

Flight: It is still a high launch ball, soaring from the tee on driver shots. I could not detect much of a difference in the dimple pattern (I didn't count them, haha) but I played several rounds in higher wind conditions and the new ball seemed to be less affected than the old ball or anything my playing partners were playing. I like to flight wedges a little lower, and I have more distance control with those shots, and the new Left Dash was eager to perform on those high spin approach shots. I observed better stopping power on greens, rivaling the ProV1x.

Distance and consistency: The Left Dash has always been a great distance ball and I definitely appreciated the performance of the new ball. I didn't use a launch monitor, so this is unscientific data, but I can say I was never disappointed. I normally figure around 180 yards for my six iron, and I flew a 187 yard pin with the new ball. Again, not a scientific observation, but I was surprised enough to take note.

The most notable difference from the current ball was the cover. The only complaint I ever had about the current generation is that I found the covers easy to damage, especially with full shots from bunkers. I played one of the new balls for three straight rounds, and my home coursse has 96 bunkers. I didn't observe any cuts or little peels on the cover. No marring at all.
