I haven’t noticed any yardage difference but I really like the shafts.

Sorry, to add to this. Has anyone had issues with their yardage gapping with the amt shafts, since they aren't the same weight?

I just got a 5-gw set of ap3s with the amt blacks. So are the pw and gw both 116g? I want to redo my sw and lw too...guessing they will be 116g as well?

Hey guys, I just bought a new to me ap3 set for a great deal. Great condition. They have amt black shafts. The set is 5-GW. Anyone know what the weights would be for the 5i and GW? I plan on reshafting my other wedges. How would I go about that? Are all wedges the same weight?

5 iron- 101g
6 iron- 104g

I went to the online catalog for these shafts and here is the information you are seeking:

AMT Black S300
95-116 (4-W) According to my fitter the longer clubs are weighted heavier starting with the 4 iron and lighter thru the wedge........progressive weighting......am waiting on mine to arrive and do not know that they have the weights on the shafts........hopes......

Where on the s300 true temper black shaft do you find the gram weight? Is there a way to use the serial number to check the weight and if so where do you find the serial number range?

I have played only Titleist - DCI, CB, AP2, MB, AP2 again - with my eye on AP3. All of my irons from have been Dynamic Gold S300 with D2 swing weight. What is the impetus for AMT Black S300 in this club?

The progressive weights and flex points work like older "flighted" irons but add more clubhead speed in the lighter long iron shafts. The only advantage would be if you are changing your whole set of irons, not just wedges. You might try finding a golf course with "Titleist Trial Sets" you can test for the day.

I used to play 716 AP2 with XP 95 shafts. I just purchased a set of AP3 with AMT Black shafts and they feel just as good and light as the XP95.
