  1. I have a very old training tool wich is a 6x weighted iron, wich helps improve swing speed. What is tha best training tool you've used.

It's interesting that current philosophy has you swinging a light implement in order to get faster, as opposed to the heavier weighted implement that provides kinesthetic feedback. The theory is that, to swing faster, you want something that enables you to fire your muscles quickly. Some drills include swinging a club upside down (i.e., hold the head and swing the grip) as fast as possible. Another TT member suggested that above.

For me, I also try to make some mechanics while using speed - trying to get the best of both worlds? I have a unique Orange whip that is about wedge length but very much stiffer than most products. It allows me to swing slowly and get some feel, stretch, and build rhythm, but because it is stiffer, I can swing it as hard/quickly as a want after warming up.

Gonna be a toss-up between alignment sticks and a putting mirror. #fundamentals

I find the full length Orange Whip very helpful for daily stretching and swing tempo. Alignment sticks are a must. Use them on the range to help with my stance and also use them on the putting green to set up to short putts.

    1. Orange Whip swing trainer
    2. Puttout putting device & mat

Cannot live without them! Especially during this long miserable winter!
  7. Real Feel Golf Mat and a net have helped out. Nothing better than live fire... I need to try this Orange Whip.

I've always felt the best thing for me was to work on my short game. Whether I'm a short hitter or a long hitter who misses greens, a lot of strokes can be made up on the putting surface. Putting mirror.

Orange Whip. Tempo is everything for me. My 15th club and the only one which isn't a Titleist!

Orange whip for me as well. It has really helped me with my tempo.

I'd have to say a launch monitor is the best tool i've used.

Cost wise I'd say an alignment stick and either the Hank Haney whip or the Orange whip. Same thing 2 different names.

I've recently bought a Blast Golf sensor, predominantly to work on my putting and driver tempo but it can be used for all clubs. It's given me extra data to go to my pro with. In my last lesson before I bought the blast, we were looking to slow my downswing down on my driver. So the Blast has helped me track that.

In my most recent lesson I showed my pro my figures, I've always had a slow back swing so it's been hard to hit the target tempo on 3:1. Using the data, my pro suggested getting my wrists set much earlier in the back swing. This has enabled my back swing tempo to speed up without feeling like i'm rushing the swing. I'm now generally bang on with my target tempo.

To assist with the earlier wrist setting, I've bought a swing guide (one of those yellow things you attached to your shaft!) this is helping me get the wrists in the right position early. My position at the top has massively improved too, as previously I was crossing the target line.

One of the juniors at our place was using a 'Power Swing Fan' on the range the other week, a few swings with that and then go back to swing a normal club - feels light as a feather. Very weird feeling!
