    I've had 5 or 6 pinnacles split on me during my golf round. Pinnacle soft and pinnacle gold.

    I would say that is probably a faulty lot, first I would put it out of play and go get some prov1s, I know the balls are from the same company but are nowhere near to be the same thing.
    Then I would call Pinnacle customer service for assistance replacing the bad ball

    It looks like your split 2 different kinds of Pinnacles so it should not be a lot issue. By split, do you mean cut like when you caught older balls thin?
