It looks like winter is finally going to leave us behind (after a brief bit of snow this Saturday) and I will be able to take my AP3's out onto the course. This has been a long winter !
One of my golf buddies and I went to the course yesterday to help them clean up fallen branches off of the fairways. The ice storm did a lot of damage to many trees so there was a lot of debris laying around in on the tee blocks and the fairways. We figured that the staff could use some help and anything we could do to help ensure the course opened in time was worth the effort. So - Today I admit the back and legs are a little sore from playing pick-up-sticks but I should be ready to swing the clubs next week.
I can hardly wait to get out on the grass. My Ap3's are cleaned up along with the new 917 Driver. My Scotty is ready to leave the basement and head out to the fresh air. The pockets in the bag are organized and filled with new balls. The battery for my Golf cart is charged and new batteries in the remote and the range finder.
I feel like a kid only a few days away from the end of school heading into the summer holidays !
I don't even care how well or poorly I may score. Just thrilled to finally be heading out again.
Wishing all my TT members (and staff) a great season filled with birdies, pars, and laughs !!!
