   Sounds like since you say you "love it to death", you might consider a refurbishment and personalization. Check out the Scotty Cameron website for options and have fun.

   agree........check out the refreshing pricing on the Cameron site below.....then compare the pricing of a new Cameron......comparative shopping is a good thing.....I have an old Newport 2 Notchback Select Black (which is now grey, almost silver) that has seen it's better days in looks but is in great shape otherwise......putts well and it is going nowhere except in my bag.......

   "Love it to death" is as emotional as you can be with a spouse. If so, consider a refurbishment. Corey Pavin still uses a Bulls Eye and Jordan has used the same putter for years. On the flip side, the new ones have new technology for feel and starting the ball spinning correctly. You won't lose either way.

   I have 2 newer Scotty's Golo and Select Newport 2 and like them both, but my Gamer keeps going back to a Phantom II w Matador Grip, love the feel, distance and it is straight as an arrow. I've had 3-4 people try to buy it while playing, but i isn't for sale.

   I agree 100%!!! Send it to the custom shop for a refurbish. A personalized custom Scotty is way cooler then an off the rack model. Make it your own and keep it forever...or eventually pass it down to your kids, grandkids etc...

    I have an Oil Can Newport putter that I bought off of a friend. It was all rusted and in need of a refinish. I sent it to Scotty, had it refinished and added a sight line as well as my initials. It came back like a brand new putter. I showed my buddy who owned it before and he thought there was no way it was the same club. It is not cheap to have it done, but the work they do is awesome! Highly recommend if you love the putter.

    I've sent 2 to the Custom Shop at Scotty's and was very happy with each one. 2004 Red X was the first and it's my favorite and still going strong.

    Definitely refurbish. I carry my 15 year old Scotty Pro Platinum Laguna 2 that that I had stripped and coated in gunmetal last year. It was probably the best decision I’ve ever made equipment wise. I also put a new stepless shaft and png blackout grip on in the process. I get a ton of compliments on it, but more importantly I putt lights out with it. Speith doesn’t change his for a reason.

    If you are looking at cost to refurbish VS replacing it you will have to add the cost you paid for it plus refurb, compared to a new stick. But if you truly love it why ask, refurb it.
