This is a follow up to a great fitting experience at TPI for the new Vokey SM7 wedges. The fitter advised four wedges starting at 48' with 5' increments. I was concerned as to how this would work in real playing conditions. Had my first chance to play with the new clubs yesterday and had a few situations where in the past I would have been "in between" yardages but now had the right club for the yardage and bang - normal full swing with more confidence resulting in the right club, right shot for the right distance. Score was much better than my norm so bottom line THATS WHY getting fit for multiple wedges worked for me - hope it does for you as well !

Good job on getting fit! Even if not purchasing new clubs, it's always worth visiting a reputable fitter to have a look at your gaps and make adjustments for loft and lie.

I did this last year and it made a significant difference in my ball striking (lie angle adjusted by 2*). Also, I had 3 clubs that needed to be adjusted for loft because they didn't match OEM specs (my 5 & 6 irons were nearly the same exact loft!).

Congrats on the improvement! Hopefully will be upgrading to the SM7's as well this year!
