Mysterious ball disappearance!

So I was playing early in the morning with my golf buddy at Forest City National in London. We were on the 13th, about 158yds from our tee deck. The wind was slightly in our face. The green is elevated, and protected by a front bunker. No good placed to miss: waste bunker left, death long, and trees and tough uphill pitch await right. I had the honour. I hit a solid shot. It was just left of the flag, heading over the right side of the bunker. We saw it take a bounce right, and then it rolled for a second or two. The ball then suddenly disappeared! My initial thought was 'did that just happen?' followed by 'I'd better not be long, I hit an 8!" My buddy hit his shot, which ended up on the fringe. We made our way to the green and I had a quick look over the back and saw nothing. I then checked the whole and sure enough, there was my ball! The craziest part is we were only 2, and we finished our round by 10am, well before the bar opened!

I was attending a regular Wednesday morning game with my wife and two friends with a shotgun start on the 6th hole at Heron Lakes in Mesa. It was a little cool out and I thought I would need more club then normal with the temperature and wind so took my 4 iron out the bag where it had been sitting all winter and launched a ball toward the green. The ladies were chatting and didn't see where the shot went but I was pretty sure it was close and didn't say a word till we got to the green where we walked on and I said maybe they should glance at the hole. It was a nice surprise for all of us. It was also the best shot of the day .....

After 18 years of golfing, I'm exhilarated to share that I, finally, had my first hole-in-one! My first year of playing was spent learning how to hit the ball far enough to lose it, LOL Then after a couple more years I discovered my ball of choice - the Pro V1 - and it remains a loyal ally. While I live in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, my Hubby and I have been members of PGA West since 2015 and we LOVE it!! I just turned 50 in January so this has been yet another wonderful event to celebrate it...

You'll never know fear till you drive over someone and they let you pass and stare.

So I'm playing as a single and the guys in front of me aren't letting me pass. Now I'm not an amazing golfer but I'm straight and long with my driver and I have good wedge control. I'm standing on the 7th hole and after following these guys for 7 holes im upset that they won't let me pass so I tee up my ball and see they are only 180 after slope out there on a 436 yard par 4 so I wack a drive down there about 310-320 over top of these guys and they play through the hole being loud and belligerent so I meet up with them on the par 3 8th and they were all saying if I'm going to be doing that I could be the big man and tee off first and a couple rude remarks. So me being who I am I just ran up there with a pro v1x and my 54* forgot my tee and stood on the box and the one guy said it was 109 to the flag and I seen on my watch it was 120 to the middle and that the flag was on an up hill slppe so I just threw the ball on the ground and swung my club at an easy tempo and I caught the ball clean and it looked to be really short but it landed a little left and long of the flag but spun back and found the the hole! I was so pumped and the guys let me play on through and just started laughing it was a truly one of a kind experience ! I really hope to get another one now that's actually planned.

Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge is where the story of my lucky day begins! That's me beside Ben's daughter Sue Wicks...I've actually got 2 characture posters from the day signed by my buddy's & Sue.....bar tab was $195....what a great experience! Just wish I could have seen the ball go in the hole....one of those great feeling shots that as we got closer to the green could only see 3 balls but ironically there was another player on an adjacent tee block staring at us....when we got to the cup and found my ball, I looked over at him and he started to clap....he'd heard the ball hit the flag...too funny :) Jon

First game of the year at the Victoria Valley Course, got my first hole-in-one on a par three, 143 yard hole using my six iron. Played with my Dad on Easter Friday. :)

Phil Hoffman Hole in One

At Glenview Country Club in The Villages Florida on April 3rd an ace was recorded on the 8th hole of Stirrup Cup. Phil hit a 154 yard shot using a prov1x and a 7 iron, one bounce and rolled in. Al Roundtree, Mike Todd and Vinnie Powell witnessed the event.

Hole in one on Vacation in Florida

I was on vacation in Florida and golfing in the Thursday mens league ,120 yard par 3 ,today the blue tees were set about 90 yds out ,hit a sweet 56 degree wedge hit left of the flag about 10 ft ,checked and spun to the right ,and hit the stick and in the hole,happiness finally

Played our first military golf club tournament and made a hole in one on the 17th 160 yards. Won the closest to the pin....also won closest to the pin on the 6 hole.. What a day. Thanks to # 1 ball in golf. Pro v one...

hello play at our local club 3 to 4 times a week myself and a few of my friends just joined the Grand Niagara golf club and on may 4th 2016 I aced the 125yd. 11th hole at grand niagara using a nine iron but the story lies between my brother and I he was always the lower handicap golfer and never had one yet long story short this was my second so let the bragging rights begin a couple nights while sleeping i had a dream that i got another one and my brother and playing partners were going god we have listen to him for the rest of the year low and behold i get a second ace on 168yd 3rd hole august 30th with a club i just bought 2 months which is 5 816 hybrid so thats my story and we are still playing together frank

I have been a member at Paragon for over 30 years an finally got my Ace a couple of years ago. it was on the hardest par 3 there is at paragon and i couldn't believe my eyes when it went in.

Oct 4/16 I was playing lousy that day. No rhythm in my swing. My playing partner suggested i slow down my swing. On the 140 yard 12th hole at Oakdale (the 3rd of the 2nd nine), i swung and his comment was "much better swing". We watched the ball land on the front of the green, take 2 quick hops and gently roll into the hole. What a day!

On September 24, 2015 a friend and I entered our provincial senior men's better ball championship that was played at the Brampton G&CC. The 3rd hole was playing 145 yards with a light swirling wind and I was stuck between an 8 and 9 iron. My partner suggested to grip down on the 8 and hit it full which I did. It's hard to explain the feeling but the moment it left the club I knew it was different. The ball hit 6 feet from the pin and tear dropped into the hole. It was my first ace. This year we returned to the same course on September 16th for a practice round. Behind that same 3rd hole is the tee box for the 7th hole which is a par 3. While waiting for the green to clear we watched the approach shots from the group on the 3rd hole. We witnessed a hole in one to which the player was so excited he ran from the tee box all the way to the green, yelling in jubilation. I walked to the green to congratulate him and watched him pull the ball out of the hole and he said" Yea, that's my Titleist".
