Hi, I've seen a lot of people mention Titleist Thursdays as a way to get custom fit for clubs, just wondering if it's free or if you need to need to book in for a fitting?

I'm looking for a new driver and custom fit seems to be the best way to go. Also, I've got a 913Fd 3-wood but not had it adjusted to suit my shot type (slight draw) would they be able to adjust that for me at the same time?

    Thanks

How about free and you have to book in for a fitting? Unlike a demo day where walk-ins have access, you get individual attention from the rep.

Titleist thursdays are awesome bit typically pretty crowded in My area (Sweden). Make an appointment with à sales rep in your area IF you are unsure. The fitting generally is free IF you buy any equipment. Good luck!

Sanderson, yes it is free. I am a Product Specialist for Titleist and conduct fittings at Titleist Thursdays. You get undivided attention for 45 minutes to get fit for whatever you would like. They will also fit you to your 913Fd. You do not need to purchase anything. Good luck.

And you guys do a great job, Dave. Kudos to all the Product Specialists. We have two in my area, Chad and Bill. Awesome guys.

Just booked my Titleist Thursday on 4/27/17 pretty pumped about it
  8. Sanderson, I actually went to my first fitting yesterday. I have played for over 20 years and watched my game and scores see-saw as I purchased clubs using printed material, internet, and some salesmen as a guide. Sometimes the various clubs matched my needs and swing, and other times I changed my swing to adapt. After leaving the range yesterday, I was finally able to conclude why my current driver's ball flight appeared to stall as it neared its apex. The spin rate (wrong shaft) was too high based on ball flight viewed by myself and a trained professional fitter and also by utilizing a $20,000 trackman launch monitor. I'm now fitted with the right clubhead and shaft. And, a much more desirable ball flight. Why didn't I do this sooner.

Booked my fitting today, for May 11 at 100pm for the 917D2 at Rivertowne CC in Mt Pleasant, SC. Talked with the Titleist Product Specialist yesterday, while we were doing an event in Florence, SC. Taking my 915D2 to do a little comparison to see if I really need an upgrade. May have him check out my pitching wedge while I am there, also, if time permits.

I've done several Thursday, made a few purchases, and it went very well. There is nothing quite like a true fitting.
  11. Can you actually order the equipment you are fit with in T Thursday’s the day of your fitting?

You can take the fitting sheet to your pro shop of choice, or, if not inconvenient, order from the pro shop sponsoring the location for the Titleist fittings. Not required, but a nice courtesy.

The Titleist fitter will email you all of the specs for the clubs you were fitted for. You can take that to any Titleist retailer to order your clubs. Some location that host Titleist Thursdays will also have someone there that can order the clubs for you if you want them to.

Depends on where you get it done. For me, I use The Grand at Del Mar. The club pro will order right then and there if you want or you can wait. He did offer a discounted round of golf if I used him so that knocked about $50 off the value of the deal.
