  1. Hey Guys- I'm new to Team Titleist... I was wondering if all of you guys are total titles or if some of you guys mix equipment? I'm currently playing my years old swoosh Slingshots but I'm hoping/ trying to save to invest in some new irons this year and I'm hoping to find some Titleists that work for me- I'm currently using Pro V1's and Scotty Camerons (I've got a small collection of Scotties) and have a Titleist tour bag as my display bag in the man cave....

I look forward to getting involved in TT and would appreciate any tips/ advice on how this place works.

    Matt

    Hi,
I think you'll find a mixture of people on here. Some will be head to toe in footjoy clothing with a full bag of Titleist whereas others will sport a mixture. I certainly started as a mixture but over the last couple of years have graduated towards a full Titleist bag - only when the fitting process showed evidence of an improvement rather than the fact I wanted an all Titleist bag. I've also noticed that it has started to happen on the clothing side as well

Hi Matt, if your not ttitleist through and through yet, you soon will be. I have played nothing but titleist for 17 years and they have never failed me. I also have a seperate wardrobe for my golf clothing that is nothing but footjoy, again its such high quality. #teamtitleist
  5. Hi All. I too am new TT. Used to be 100% completely Made of Taylor until a couple of years ago when I was given a doz ProV1's and beautiful red Titleist cap. That was all it took! Moved camp then and there and where ££ allow have been introducing T & FJ to my game and cupboard ever since. (Dryjoy Casuals are the best golf shoes I have owned in 30+ years of playing). Unfortunately my irons (Adams) were custom fit and cost a mint so looks like it'll be while before can part from those but I have decided that a new bag has been earned. Trouble is I can't decide between a little 4UP or a Players 5. Apparently, according to the missus, having more than one bag is something only girls can do! Watch this space.....
All the best people, happy golfing!

    Hi Matt,
    Welcome to TT,
Me personally, I have a full bag of Titleist with Vokey Wedges and a Scotty, I've tried other brands but just prefer Titleist for the quality and high standards they produce.
Being fitted for your clubs is the best piece of advice I would give you.
    Happy Golfing !

I too have a full Titleist, Vokey and Scott's set up. Now I'm a little older I have started to wear the FJ clothing as well. If you've not already tried all of the Titleist range I would encourage you to do so when time for replacement comes, quality speaks for itself.

    Welcome to TT Matt

    Hey Matt

With the exception of my Driver (M1) and standbag (swoosh Pro lite), I play Titleist equipment...714 AP1s (5-PW), Vokey Wedges (SM5 LW and SW and a SM6 GW), 16.5 Deg 915 Fairway wood and 2 and 4 915 Hybrids. My putter is a Scotty Red X that's more than a decade old and still going strong and I use the 2015 Tour Bag when I travel. I spent a bit of time and money on a custom fitting when I changed from my old swoosh Slingshots (same as you) and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Investing in my set up has dramatically changed my game. I've shaved 8 shots off my handicap in less than 18 months and I've got a newfound confidence in my game - even when things aren't going my way on the course. The biggest improvement in my game has been the ability to hit some Par 5 greens in two that I wasn't ever able to do...This isn't solely down to equipment, I have made swing changes but I've never felt as confident hitting a fairway wood as I do playing my 915.

I would advise not just going out and buying some Titleist equipment but doing a proper fitting session...you'll definitely reap the rewards on the course!
  9. I have AP2 Irons 913+915 Hybrids and Vokey wedges, I use a Scotty but have the M1 driver and m2 3 Wood in the bag.

Titltiest are one of the most underrated companies when it comes to Hybrids I can not find a 19degree hybrid to perform anywhere near my 913H and I have tried everything out there.

As a new guy here myself it does seem as though there is a mixed bag here (pun intended).

Always get custom fit before buying clubs

    Happy posting

I'm all Titleist except for driver, 3 wood and hybrid. I did actually buy the new 816 H2 but I'd gone from a 17 degree hybrid and the H2 was 19 degrees. So although the H2 was very forgiving it was too high launching and I lost too much distance, which for me was a big issue as my hybrid is my go to club when driver is off. Ended up making use of the 30 day guarantee to swap it for the new M1 hybrid in 17 degrees.
