The PGA Tour is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the CIMB Classic. Being held at Kuala Lumpur G&CC’s West course, the CIMB Classic is a co-sanctioned event with the Asian Golf Tour, giving fans the chance to see the best players from all over the world.
The 7,000 yard par-72 West course offers players a chance to be very aggressive off the tee which sets up many opportunities for birdies and low scores.
"You know, there's driver off a lot of holes...It gives you options even on the par 5s and allows you to be aggressive," says defending champion and Titleist Pro V1x Loyalist Lee Westwood.
Players are also focused on the importance of playing well in the next two events in hopes of setting up a strong season. Last season's FedExCup Champion and Pro V1x Loyalist Billy Horschel believes this week can help set up success for the rest of the season.
"Playing here this week and playing next week in Shanghai, if I can get two good tournaments under my belt and hopefully a victory, it can help me possibly win the FedExCup next year," said Horschel.
With low scores on the horizon and valuable FedExCup points at stake, there is sure to be a lot of action at this week's CIMB Classic.

“That 8-iron worked out pretty perfect there on 17,” said Titleist Brand Ambassador Robert Streb moments after sitting down at his post-round press conference as he reflected on his dramatic playoff win at the McGladrey Classic.
This shot on the second hole of the three-man playoff put Robert in prime position to cap off an impressive final-round performance. After steadying his nerves, Robert converted the birdie putt and secured his first career PGA Tour victory.
Robert started the day five-strokes off the lead but went on to author a stellar round that included a total of 9 birdies (not including the playoff clinching 74th hole). This was the exclamation point to a week of steady play for Robert where he carded all four rounds in the 60s and posted a 14-under-par 266.
The key to Robert’s early season success and confidence on the course…
“Just trying to improve, trying to get better, and obviously it paid off pretty big today.”
We’d agree. Congratulations, Robert!
Let's take a closer look at the equipment Robert used to win this past weekend.
Titleist Brand Ambasador Robert Streb fired a final round 7-under-par 63 to earn a spot in a three-way all-Titleist golf ball playoff and claim victory over Titleist Brand Ambassador Brendon de Jonge and Titleist Pro V1x Loyalist Will MacKenzie at the McGladrey Classic. The 63 marked the lowest round of Streb's young career and capped off an impressive 14-under-par 266 victory total.
Robert credits his impressive play to a renewed focus on all aspects of his game. Robert ranked in the Top 15 in Driving Distance (6), Strokes Gained Tee to Green (13) and Strokes Gained Putting (2).
"I'm just trying to improve. Trying to get wedges closer, putt better, drive it better. Just kind of try to keep steadily improving in all aspects," said Streb.
The victory also punches Robert's ticket to next year's Masters, a major accomplishment for the man who listed playing Augusta National as the number one goal on his list.
"Very excited. You know, you spend so much time watching Augusta on TV as a kid and I'm just very thrilled, and just excited to see what it's like."
Congratulations on your great play, Robert!

The best players in the world are in beautiful Sea Island, Georgia for the McGladrey Classic. Held on the scenic Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club, the McGladrey Classic will surely provide fireworks as players will be looking to go low on the 7,055 yard, Par-70 layout.
Despite a history of low scores, players realize they will have to be on their game if they expect to be in contention on Sunday.
"This golf course is in as great a shape as I've ever seen it...They've made the golf course somehow a little bit better. It is normally very windy here, and if it is, it can play very difficult," said Titleist Brand Ambassador, and Sea Island resident, Zach Johnson.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Martin is trying to maintain the momentum from his first career victory last week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
"I'm looking forward to trying to put all that behind me and go out to compete this week..just looking forward to getting back on the golf course".
With a strong field and fantastic setting, it should be an exciting weekend of golf in Sea Island.

SHOTS AND SCENES
If conditions stay as calm as they were on Tuesday at Sea Island, we may see some agressive play from players this week.
But even without a strong wind blowing, the Seaside Course is a great test.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Martin stays in the groove after capturing his first career victory last week.
Beautiful views like this await players on many holes at Sea Island.
Good luck to all of Team Titleist this week!
