ENCORE PERFORMANCE
Titleist Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker Trusts Pro V1 and a full bag of Titleist clubs in successful defense of his John Deere Classic title.
(July 12, 2010) – Trusting the Pro V1 golf ball and a complete bag of Titleist equipment, Titleist Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker displayed the form that has made him one of the most consistent competitors on the PGA TOUR. Stricker set a new tournament record en route to defending his John Deere Classic title, edging fellow Pro V1 loyalist Paul Goydos, who made his own indelible mark in the event’s opening round by shooting the fourth 59 in PGA TOUR history. On the Nationwide Tour, Peter Tomasulo relied on the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball as he fired a 10-under-par 61 Sunday to come from eight shots behind and win the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic. The victories advance Titleist's 2010 worldwide win count to 69, more than four times the nearest competitor. A week of special achievements proving once again that performance begins with trust. Performance begins with Titleist.
